The Rapture

The PreTribulational Rapture describes a global event in which the one and only true God will come to take away a select group of people who believe in His son, Jesus Christ, and are counted 'worthy to escape' a terrible time of darkness called The Tribulation, which will fall upon the Earth sometime afterwards. The believers are collectively referred to as the church, or the Bride of Christ. Revelation, which is the last book in the Bible, describes the revealing of Jesus Christ, the 7 year Tribulation, the rise and fall of the antichrist, and what will happen to Satan when Jesus returns to rule on Earth for 1000 years.
